2017 NBA All-Star Game

Welcome to the Queen City
The kings of the NBA are returning to the Queen City for the 2017 NBA All-Star Weekend Feb. 17-19, 2017. The NBA All-Star celebration was first held in Charlotte in 1991. The 66th annual game will take place at Time Warner Cable Arena, home of Michael Jordan’s Charlotte Hornets, on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017. More than 150 city events are expected during the weekend, including several ticketed and non-ticketed public events at the historic Bojangles’ Coliseum and the Charlotte Convention Center.

Who attends the NBA All-Star Game?
Nearly 20,000 attendees, including NBA officials and their partners, celebrities and 10,000 members of the media, are estimated to attend the star-studded weekend of events. The event is expected to garner international exposure for the city as a leisure, sports, business and convention destination and generate an estimated $100 million in economic impact.
