Dr. John D. Currid delivers the inaugural Ann Tarwater Lecture, which explores the relationship between religion and the physical or social sciences. Dr. Currid is the Carl McMurray Professor of Old Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte. He earned his Ph.D. in Syro-Palestinian Archaeology at the University of Chicago and has held several field expedition staff positions, including at Bethsaida, Carthage and Tell el-Hesi. His books include "The ESV Bible Atlas" with cartographer David Barrett.
