Join us as more than 50 North Carolina potters gather on the lawn of Mint Museum Randolph to sell their creations. There will be pottery demonstrations, food, live music, and more! Your ticket is also valid for museum admission.
The Potters Market Invitational is presented by the Delhom Service League, ceramics affiliate of The Mint Museum, and helps fulfill the Delhom's mission to promote ceramic arts and education.
Since 2004, the Potters Market Invitational has raised more than $250,000 and now attracts close to 1,500 people to the event each year. The reputation of PMI continues to grow each year attracting local, regional, and national collectors. This year's event on September 10, 2016 will be our 12th anniversary.
Sponsorships are available for early entry on Saturday and the Friday night "Potters Party."
Originally from Ethiopia and now based out of Oklahoma, Eyakem Gulilat sees photography as an opportunity to immerse himself in others' lives and formulating an American narrative. Join him for a hands-on photography project that explores your own environment.

New York Times Best Selling Author Amber Smith, a former assistant curator at the Mint, shares excerpts and open dialogue with the audience from her novel The Way I Used to Be & a sneak peek into her latest novel The Last to Let Go comin in February 2018. The Way I Used to Be shares an unforgettable story of a young woman as she struggles to find strength in the aftermath of an assault & subsequent hardships that contribute to her challenges. Joining in the chat will be Charlotte Psychotherapist & Teen Health Educator Delilah McDonald, MSW, LCSW who will provide insight and community resources that all can share to help sexual abuse and domestic violence victims, parents, and communities heal.
Guests can purchase the book, have the book signed, chat with the featured author & guest educator at the Mint Shop, enjoy free entertainment, and sip (lemonade or wine), shop, and save on unique items at Wine on Wednesdays.
