The N.C. Transportation Museum's Boy Scout Rail Camp, the largest event of its type in the nation, is now offered in two separate sessions. Summer and fall editions of the popular event will be offered to accommodate the huge numbers of troops who wish to participate. The event includes three days and two nights spent on the museum grounds. Troops will set up camp on our 57 acre property Friday night. Saturday entails a scavenger hunt, while they dedicate the afternoon to earning their Railroading Merit Badge. Troops will also tour the museum and take a train ride around the museum's 57 acre of history.
