Thursday, May 12, CHARLOTTE/ONE presents CLTtalks: Child Poverty. An evening of turning words into action. CLTtalks is an event series based around social justice issues that are central to Charlotte. Come together with non-profit leaders and fellow Charlottteans to talk about how we can advance change in our city and help those in need. We will host 5+ non-profits for you to meet and help you engage in making a difference in Charlotte. Volunteer opportunities will be available for you to plug into. Complimentary light appetizers and beverages will be provided. At CLTtalks you'll get to meet other 20 & 30 somethings who want to make the city better, engage in meaningful conversation and link up with oraganizations doing something to help those in need.
