What did our 18th Century ancestors drink to stay cool on hot summer days? Lemonade was very popular as it is now. But, other beverages such as Shrub and Metheglin were also very common. Join members of the Historical Cooking Guild of the Catawba Valley to sample some 18th Century “cooling draughts”. This is a drop in program. No reservations necessary.
