An Evening with International Environmental Artist: Aurora Robson

Please join Providence Day School's Global Education Department in association with McColl Center for Art + Innovation for an evening with Aurora Robson, International Environmental Artist and McColl Center Alumna Artist in Residence (http://www.aurorarobson.com/). She will take us through her process of creating art by intercepting the waste stream. Robson's work has been featured in Sculpture Magazine, Art in America, WIRED, Art & Antiques, the cover of Green Building + Design and many other publications. She is a recipient of the Pollock Krasner Grant, a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in sculpture, a TED/Lincoln Re-Imagine Prize and numerous other grants and awards Robson is also the founding artist of Project Vortex, an international collective of artists, designers and architects who also work with plastic debris.
