Charlotte Teachers Institute (CTI) explores the impacts of Latinos on the New South and of the New South on Latinos in its Exploding Canons interdisciplinary speakers program Tuesday, Oct. 27 at the Levine Museum of the New South. Centered on the Levine's new ground-breaking ¡NUEVOlution! exhibition, the CTI program features a panel of experts in a variety of fields from Davidson College, UNC Charlotte, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and Levine Museum, to reflect and expand on central themes of the exhibition. The reception includes information tables staffed by local agencies representing and serving the Latino community. Guests can visit the ¡NUEVOlution! exhibition during the reception and after the speakers program. This Oct. 27 event, including the exhibition viewing, is free and open to the public.
