This period candlelight farm to table 5 course gourmet dinner is Rosedale's signature fundraiser. The dinner is coordinated by Executive Chef Rob Marillo of Central Piedmont Community College and other local celebrity chefs. The event begins with an open bar cocktail hour in the Lake Simpson Dickson Gardens and butlered hors d'oeuvres. Dinner will be served by candlelight under a tent on our expansive lawn. Each course will have a carefully selected wine pairing.
Executive Director, Deborah Hunter states, "What Chef Rob creates transcends the current farm to table trend and will recapture an entire era of elegant dining experiences. This is the most unique dinner event ever produced in Charlotte."
This year will feature an auction both silent and live that will contain artwork made from artifacts from the 200 year old home. Items range from benches made from doors to shadow boxes and framed prints.
