Every day, 274 people die of blood clots in America alone. That's 274 deaths daily that can be prevented. Blood clots kill more people each than AIDS, Breast Cancer and motor vehicle accidents combined. Blood clots do not discriminate, regardless of age, race or gender we are all at risk. Knowing the signs, symptoms and risk factors saves lives and prevents lifelong pain and disability.
We are teaming up with the National Blood Clot Alliance, a 501(c)(3), non-profit, voluntary health organization dedicated to advancing the prevention, early diagnosis and successful treatment of life-threatening blood clots such as deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, and clot-provoked stroke, to raise awareness and funds to assist them in their life saving mission.
