Symphony Park (next to SouthPark Mall)
4400 Sharon Rd. Charlotte, NC 28211
Mingle with 20,000+ culture and music lovers at one of Charlotte’s largest cultural events, the Latin American Festival! The Latin American Coalition’s signature event is celebrating 25 years with two days of music, food, and fun. Every year we do our best to bring you an incredible lineup of the biggest names in Latin American music. Headliners on Saturday include Mexican ska band Panteon Rococo, Chilean hip-hop sensation Ana Tijoux, and Charlotte-native Bakalao Stars. On Sunday, the multi-Grammy award winning Colombian rock group Aterciopelados will return to our stage. Other artists on Sunday include Puerto Rican salsa legend Ismael Miranda, FuLaSo, Cuban singer songwriter Diana Fuentes, and Venezuelan trio Los Crema Paraiso. What else? An array of Latin American food, traditional dance performances, a marketplace full of authentic handmade crafts, and some of NCs best Latino visual artists. Added bonus: every dollar you spend will go toward helping the Charlotte community.
