Tthe Concord Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Fall Awareness Committee invites the community to participate in our Love Doesn’t Hurt…The Different Side of Dating and Domestic Violence Workshop. The seminar will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from10am – 12:30pm (Registration begins at 9:30am) at McGill Baptist Church located at 5300 Poplar Tent Road in Concord, NC. As an initiative of our Sorority, the Fall Awareness Community Forum seeks to educate, and facilitate lifestyle change for the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of both women and men. This year’s program brings together, professionals and representatives from different agencies in our community helping to Educate, Empower and Eradicate Domestic Violence. Seminar topics include: LoveIsRespect: Teen Dating Violence (Teens Only); LoveIsRespect II: Parents Let’s Talk: Not All Wounds Are Visible: In Her Shoes; Faith and Culture: Domestic Violence in African-American Relationship
