The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art screens the documentary Making Space: 5 Women Changing the Face of Architecture (trailer, 50 minutes) November 12 during the museum's Modernism + Film program. Making Space: 5 Women Changing the Face of Architecture is a full-length documentary that captures the lives, passions and work of five world-renowned female architects: Annabelle Selldorf (New York), Marianne McKenna (Toronto), Kathryn Gustafson (Seattle and London), Farshid Moussavi (London) and Odile Decq (Paris). Highlighting a variety of urban, landscape and sustainable mediums, the film offers a penetrating look at thse female contemporary architects. Shot cinema verité style, the film features interviews of its subjects at home and on-site at some of the most impressive projects across the globe.
