National Trails Day Celebration

The Carolina Thread Trail is throwing a party for National Trails Day on Saturday, June 4. This free, family-friendly event takes place at the South Fork Trail and Blueway in McAdenville, N.C., from 11 am to 3 pm. The celebration features two guided nature hikes, free kayak rentals for paddling on the South Fork River, lawn games, live music, Papi Queso food truck, Rivermen Brewing Company and more. Come out and share your love of trails with your family, friends and community!

National Trails Day is an annual celebration of America's trail system created by the American Hiking Society. The first Saturday of every June, people and organizations across the country host events to show their pride and dedication to trails.
