Plein Air Paintings - From the Carolinas and Beyond

Artist Paul Keysar of Charlotte, North Carolina, will share over twenty recent oil paintings in his solo exhibit, “Plein Air Paintings - from the Carolinas and Beyond” at the UNC Charlotte Student Union Art Gallery. The show runs from November 2 to December 10, 2016. The public is invited to a free opening reception on Saturday, November 5, 2016, from 6-8 pm. Regular gallery hours are Monday through Saturday 10 am to 9 pm and Saturday 10 am to 6 pm. Visitors to the exhibit will view a mix of plein air paintings, work completed outdoors on location, depicting the natural and urban environment from the Carolinas and beyond. Many of the paintings in this exhibit are the result of work completed during Keysar’s travels and participation in plein air painting competitions. Local scenes include paintings of NoDa, Uptown, Concord, Rowan County, and the Anne Springs Close Greenway.
