Envision Charlotte is excited to host the second Eco Network Speakers Series event, on September 19 at the Foundation for the Carolinas - Kearney Solarium. In a post-Paris Climate Accord world, this event will begin with a presentation focused on how cities are taking on climate change, and specifically how air quality plays a key role in impacting the quality of life at the local level. Following the presentation, Amy Aussieker, Executive Director for Envision Charlotte, will moderate a panel discussion to explore how air quality data and monitoring combined with equitable and inclusive strategies are improving the quality of life in Charlotte and in other global cities. Audience Q&A will follow. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/something-in-the-air-improving-air-quality-through-community-partnerships-tickets-36871031247
