Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation Tower Climb

Duke Energy Center
500 S Tryon St Charlotte, NC 28202
Join us for the Annual Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Climb on April 29th, 2017! Climb all 54 flights of the Duke Energy Center in honor of Stephen Siller, a FDNY firefighter who lost his life on 9/11/01 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. The proceeds will go towards building smart homes for those most catastrophically injured service members returning home. Each home is custom designed to address the unique needs of the individuals. Energy efficient, automated and easily accessible these homes use "adaptive technology" to help these heroes live better, more independent lives. This event can be done alongside friends, families, groups, or as a walk at your own pace. Looking to attend and not climb? Supporters are encouraged to cheer on the participants at the finish line and check out the children's education station.
