Nationally known for his efforts at immigrant integration in Nashville, Tom Negri had a leading role in Nashville for All of Us, the initiative to defeat the 2009 "English Only" bill designed by local councilman. Negri visits to give a talk on the challenges and efforts needed to create more welcoming cities. The lecture is presented annually by UNC Charlotte's Center for the Study of the New South in partnership with Levine Museum and hosted by Center Director Dr. Ashli Stokes.Free to attend, registration required.
