On February 1, 2016 at 7:30 pm, The Wendell Scott Foundation will host the world premiere to celebrate the release of an extraordinary, new, animated short film, "DRIVEN". The StoryCorps produced film is the story of the pioneering, African American NASCAR-driver, Wendell Scott, and the release will take place at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, NC.
Attending the premiere will be filmmakers, members of the voice cast, and many more for post screening panel discussion. The film will be shown in the High Octane Theater, which features 278 seats, and 64-foot wide screen with surround sound. Sponsoring the event is the Wendell Scott Foundation, StoryCorps, Point of View Documentary Films of PBS, and Corporation for Public Broadcasting and the NASCAR Hall of Fame. We hope everyone will join us for the world premiere of "Driven" to kick off Black History month!
