Crave Dessert Bar's Crème Brûlée Recipe

The caramelized sugar is the best part of this easy and delicious crème brûlée. With only six ingredients, you'll have a dessert that you and your guests will love.

  • 5 egg yolks
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Godiva White
  • Chocolate Liqueur

  • Preheat oven to 300 F.
  • Place four (6-ounce) ramekins in a 13-by-9-inch pan.
  • Use a whisk to mix ingredients together and pour into ramekins.
  • Pour 2 cups of boiling water around the ramekins in the 13x9 inch pan (should come halfway up sides of ramekins).
  • Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 300 degrees F until top is a light golden brown. Sides will set; centers will be jiggly.
  • Transfer the ramekins to cooling rack. Cool to room temperature (about two hours).
  • Cover tightly with plastic wrap; refrigerate until chilled (about four hours).
  • To serve, spread 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar on top of each custard in the ramekin. Use a kitchen blowtorch until the sugar caramelizes evenly and hardens.
  • Garnish with berries and mint and enjoy!
