The Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA) is pleased to welcome Tom Manno, general manager of The Westin Charlotte, to its board of directors.
Manno took over as general manager of The Westin in July, following a successful career in the hospitality and tourism industry. He has served as sales manager, director of sales and marketing, hotel manager, general manager and assistant vice president of sales and marketing for Hyatt Hotels & Resorts; executive director for the Austin Convention & Visitors Bureau; executive vice president for The Biltmore Hotel Company; and general manager for the Ritz-Carlton St. Louis; The Westin Innisbrook Resort; and the Lansdowne Resort. In his most recent role, Manno served as vice president and managing director of the Trump International in Fort Lauderdale.

The CRVA board of directors provides leadership to CEO Tim Newman and oversees all segments of the CRVA – the Charlotte Convention Center, Time Warner Cable Arena (specific services), Ovens Auditorium, Bojangles’ Coliseum, Visit Charlotte, and the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
