Splurge a lot. Most likely we’ll all be doing a lot of that in the coming weeks. But luckily, Visit Charlotte and area hotels are teaming up with ways to save this season when it comes to crossing off that holiday shopping list. “Splurge a lot”, running November 21 through January 4, provides visitors who book a one-night stay* at participating hotels with a $50 gas card and a shopping bag full of deals from area malls and boutiques, mall directories, meal coupons, and more.
The “Splurge a lot” shopping bag offers more than a dozen promotions, coupons, directories, and more to help visitors explore Charlotte with ease. Thirty hotels throughout the area are participating including accommodations in Concord, University, and South Park, which are nearby three destinations that see a lot of action during the holidays – Concord Mills, Northlake Mall, and SouthPark Mall. Many Center City hotels are taking part as well - a perfect location for exploring exclusive to Charlotte boutiques and taking advantage of holiday festivities such as WBT Holiday on Ice, The Nutcracker by NC Dance Theatre, and The Leonard Bearstein Orchestra in Founders Hall.
