Join us for the 2015/2016 Season premiere in October with Fall Works, an eclectic performance where you can enjoy a new work, a masterwork and a work that is "a lively mix of toe shoes and bluegrass." Associate Artistic Director Sasha Janes, known for using ballet for powerful storytelling, is creating an inspiring new ballet. Back by popular demand, the Company is reprising Forgotten Land, a soulful masterwork by renowned contemporary choreographer Jiri Kylian. Prepare to stomp your feet and clap your hands with Artistic Director Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux's Shindig, a critically acclaimed ballet set to traditional bluegrass music performed live by the Greasy Beans. The New York Times exclaimed "Lucky North Carolina" after the Company performed Shindig at the Kennedy Center in 2010.
