These exhibits of figurative and abstract paintings, mixed-media sculptures, and master and contemporary artists celebrate collectors of African-American Art. Be among the first to view The Darryl Atwell Collection of African-American Art, meet Mr. Atwell and welcome the return of Mrs. Vivian Hewitt to the Gantt Center. This season we will highlight collectors who are preserving African-American art for future generations, and two North Carolina-born artists who are making their mark on the art world.
