Friendly staff and well priced draft beer. A perfect place to kill time while you wait for your table at O-Ku.
Stopped in here the other week to have a late breakfast/early brunch. The food was pretty good and the selection was very nice.
Sat at the bar for lunch, wanted to try a new-to-me spot and dont have much time today. First thing I noticed was it felt dirty...not just the bar, the whole place. Know how you sometimes have that feeling like something just needs a deep clean, because you just cant keep getting by with a moist rag at last call....that feeling. Food was decent, but the price tag lowers it meh at best, especially when you only get 1pc of fish. Only 2 waitresses were working, with a median age of about 65. Nothing wrong with that but they just couldnt keep up with the 4 or 5 tables they each had. This of course led to no refills, and forever and a day to get my check, and then another day to get my card back. To many fantastic restaurants in Charlotte to waste time on dirty, slow, over-priced, fish and chips IMO.
Great ambiance with good food. I loved the stake mushroom pie in particular.
Atmosphere is chill. Food is just OK. Tons of trinkets stuffed into every corner of the place. Could use a little makeover. The value to food ratio was very lacking. However, they did have a nice bar selection.
