Rí Rá Irish Pub
Came here for Super Bowl spontaneously as we were exploring downtown Charlotte. A lot of other restaurants were closed, but we saw this place had decent reviews so we came here, and it was a fantastic experience. It wasnt too busy, but the staffs were great and friendly. The receptionist sat us next to a place with tv and a fireplace, which was nice. We ordered the bangers and mashed potato for dinner, and ice cream and fudge for dessert. Both were delicious. Would highly recommend this place!
Upstairs is nice and quaint. Food was bombin and the drink was adequate. Honestly the Irish Benedict is why it got 4 stars when a pub dishes out watered down drinks. Shots and the actual whiskey might be different though! Make a visit and ask for upstairs if you have a small group.
Great venue for late night live music downstairs and club scene with dj upstairs. Cute girls, great music, good drinks & fairly quick service. Dinner menu is better than bar food, for sure.
We celebrated new year's 2018 here. Amazing pub. My first Irish pub visit. Great beers. Food was ok - ordered fish and chips and was greasy and dripping in oil. Burger and fries were great. Bartenders were pretty cool. Loved the Irish accent lol. They had a couple of guys playing some songs through the night with the usual NYC ball drop on TV. The band was great. Loved it.
When we first moved here 6 years ago this used to be one of the best places to eat in Charlotte. But about 2 years they changed their menu and took a lot of good food off the menu and catered it more towards the college crowd. Since then the whole atmosphere and vibe has changed at this place and we no longer go here. They added an addition upstairs and at 10 p.m. on the weekends they turn into a nightclub.
