Great cider choices and I love how they switch things up and try new flavors. Service is kinda rocky but usually pretty good. Love it here!

My girlfriend and I went in at a pretty slow time and asked politely if they did any samples or tastings of meads in hopes of buying a bottle, flight, or at the very least, a glass. Unfortunately, we were welcomed by a very rude woman behind the bar. This lady seemed to resent us for no apparent reason and very angrily stated that she would give us a small sip of a mead if we really wanted. After passive aggressively placing the glasses on the table, I tasted what she had presented, and it was actually decent; however, her attitude and poor customer service forced me to want to leave immediately. This place clearly does not pride themselves on their customer service. Bad vibes.

The 'Orchard' private event space at GoodRoad CiderWorks was a terrific choice. My family and I threw a celebration with a guest list of nearly 100, and GoodRoad was an excellent host from start to finish. The cider was tasty, the service was great, and the event manager Andrea Ware was friendly, helpful, and patient both in working through all the details of planning and on the day of the event.

My husband and I visited here today and were not disappointed with the cider but disappointed in the staff. My husband happened to be wearing a hat from another NC cider company and the lady pouring the cider had a very pretentious attitude about it. She commented that they were much better rather than complimenting the fact that we had visited other cideries. We like to try lots of different cideries and breweries. Everyone has their own style and are not necessarily better that the other. The attitude totally ruined the experience and we did not stay as long as we had planned.

I have never been a huge fan of ciders in the past, but this place has something for everyone. Friendly staff and great nice environment.
