Rivermen Brewing Company
Nice spot. Standard modern brewery housed in an old decommissioned mill. decent menu, but the food I ordered was just ok. overall it just seems to be missing a personality or something that makes it stand out. maybe it's too large and spacious. not sure. will try again though.
Very bland food. If youre going to do food youre going to get hit on doing it poorly. The burgers are so bad. The tacos were good, but nothing special. Unfortunately, our waiter was not very attentive, however he said they were lightly staffed that day so that will not be factored into the review. Meanwhile, the brews were good. Come here for the beers, not the food. Order food and youll probably leave a bit disappointed. Its still a very good local spot. Itd be nice if there were some more shade options outside. Food could have been an outlier, but everyone is saying the same thing in the reviews as far as food goes.
Great beer, great service and great food! We all enjoyed the citra pale ale; it had a great summer feel. Between the three of us, we had the buffalo chicken dip, heirloom tomato salad and a Reuben. Everything was hot or cold as it should be! The chip to dip ratio was spot on...I hate when you run out of the dippers! They were out of the gorgonzola cheese for the tomato salad, but the goat cheese alternative was just as good. The Reuben was probably one of the best I have ever had and the other guests agreed. The server (Michael, if I recall correctly) was very attentive and funny and seemed to love what he was doing. I can't wait to go back!!
Beer wasn't too bad. Nice place/atmosphere. Bartender was not very personable, but not mean. Waitstaff seemed cool, but the bartender actually waited on our large table. I'd give them another shot.
Good food, nice atmosphere. Service at lunch was slow even though not busy. Waited so long for food, I filled up on water and couldn't eat much.
