Great place for breakfast/brunch. It was not busy when we came on a Saturday morning at 8:30. They are in the heart of South End on the light rail. For first timers, you grab a table on your own, grab a menu at the front, then order at the counter when ready. They'll bring out the food. Lots of seating inside and out with some shade covers. Dogs are allowed on the patio and I saw at least one with a dog bowl with water provided. We got salmon lox toast, avocado toast, and a grilled chicken avocado melt. The food was tasty but a bit on the salty side. I would have liked a bit more avocado. Ask for water when you order to get a carafe with cups. Loved the decor - very clean, open, and relaxing. I saw that they have a craft cocktail menu which seems promising.
Line was long, it was cold outside, we had to wipe down our own table, and I thought I ordered French toast but got 1 price of regular dry toast with strawberries and lemon ricotta on top. Might have been better if it was actual battered French toast. My husbands biscuits and gravy were really weird and gravy was a peach color. He didnt eat it. We were excited to eat here and disappointed that we did. It was also pricey for small portions. I dont recommend. On the plus side, they have a cool modern vibe and lots of dogs on the patio with their humans. Thats the only reason they got 2 stars instead of 1 from me.
Phenomenal place for breakfast! All food was great but shakshuka was just amazing! I felt like southern twist of this dish and it was incredible! Must try! Avocado toast was great too! For sure will be back!
Counter service and they bring you your food. Not sure why I left a generous tip as when the server brought my meal she refused to get a refill on my sweet tea. She suggested I go back and stand in the line where orders were being placed and ask the cashier to refill. Next time I'll tip AFTER I eat, should it warrant a tip. Basically I tipped for nothing.
Beautiful place. Nice ambiance but the food.... Not too much. Incredibly salty. Inconsistent eggs. Wish I had more thumbs to give it thumbs down
