Incredible. Get the tomato toast, white pizza, and olive oil cake. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff was awesome.

We thought the food was delicious. Starting with the tomato toast appetizers to the main entres. We will return to experience other dishes soon.

Orto is a great new Italian eatery in the NODA neighborhood. Nestled on the corner of the small strip of venues at 36th Street Station (LYNX), one of the first things you may notice is the lack of parking in front. (No along the street side doesnt count, and you may get towed). However there is a parking deck next door at 30Six NODA apartments, the first hour is free. Currently Orto is accepting reservations through Resy, with Walk-Ups being allocated to patio and bar seating. Every night has had a line out front. Is the line worth it? ABSOLUTELY! The staff are all very welcoming. Shout Out To: Timothy greeted us and sat us at our table. Danielle was our server, and based on her recommendations we had a fantastic meal. To start I had the Lemon Wooder cocktail, it was delicious. For an app, we selected to go with a pizza as we wanted to try it, and figured we could have left overs. For the main entrees, we selected the Lasagna, and the Spaghetti and Meatballs. Lasagna: This is a must! Made fresh ever day, the flavors will leave you wanting more and more. Spaghetti and Meatballs: The meatballs were excellent handmade fresh. The BAD: ** Spaghetti: while they advertise Al Dente pasta, we found it to be undercooked severely. ** Pizza: the pizza as you can see in my photo, was oddly assembled with ingredients randomly added to various pieces. Some had cheese, some had tomato, some had only oil and overcooked crust. All together we didnt enjoy the pizza. The small things: - Bag holders under each table - Very clean restrooms

Had an wonderful experience from reservations to dining. Timothy was so polite and called to verify our reservation days prior. We arrived and were seated immediately with a greeting of happy birthday which was a nice touch. Everyone at bar greeted us as we walked by and we had a great table by window. Our server Tristan was excellent and very knowledgeable. We ordered Arancini and tomato toast for apps and they were outstanding. Very tasty and plenty for two. For our entrees we had parpadelle and fusilli bolognese. The housemade pasta was delicious and you could tell it was made in house. The rabbit on papardelle was also delightful. We would recommend to anyone. Not too casual and not too fancy. Just right for any occassion. Thanks to Paul, Jane, Timothy, Amanda, Tristan and Francis for the excellent celebration! We cant wait to come back.
