This place has ruined food for me. I thought I knew what good food was, but I found taste buds I didn't know I had here. The level of the food was rivaled only by the level of service. Every person was warm and inviting I felt at home as soon as I walked in. But let's not forget the drinks. I still don't know how they were able to get a drink to have so many complex flavors. I was blown away the entire visit. 10 out of 10. Definitely eat here.

We finally got to The Stanley. Ive been looking forward to trying this place for a while. Weve been hesitant because of Covid. We requested seating in a more spaced out area. The staff is happy to accommodate and friendly. Amber (our Server) was delightful & made our visit even more memorable. My husband is quite the cook so Ive become more picky. We love farm to table. Supporting local suppliers etc. The small plates that came out looked like art on a plate. They were tasty! I recommend ordering everything to try as much as possible. When they say small plates, they mean small. Go big, get it all and sample everything. Its an experience!

Excellent service, comfortable yet sophisticated ambience, and the food is amazing. You can taste the farm to table freshness in every bite. The combination of flavors by the chef is a step out of the ordinary in EXACTLY the way Charlotte cuisine is in need of. We had the steam buns, pork belly, agnolotti, and duck breast and can say that every dish was thoughtful from protein to garnish. Looking forward to visiting again to see more seasonal dishes on their ever changing menu.

Great ambiance, good looking menu, staff experience was A+. Food presentation was amazing but taste didn't match up. Someone needed to taste the spring veggie small plate before sending it out. Tasted like lawn mower clippings.

I visited for the first time and had a fantastic experience. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive - perfect service. The menu offered something for everyone. Whether you wanted elevated comfort food, to be challenged with new textures and unconventional pairings, or to experience cuisine fusions that arent common (I.e. risotto with Asian-inspired flavors). Our cocktails were also excellent. The old fashioned I ordered hit the table just shy of perfect dilution and allowed the whiskey to stand on its own merit. I felt the prices were very reasonable for the quality of ingredients and portion sizes. Bear in mind, this isnt a place you go to gorge yourself and its not Golden Corral. If thats your expectation, youre in the wrong restaurant. I would highly recommend trying this restaurant and will be returning soon.
