Celebrate the season with a lively SPRING ART SHOW produced by the Charlotte Art Collective on Saturday, April 27th from 10 am to 4pm at 2821 Park Road / Avondale Church. Attendees say it’s one of the best high-end art and craft shows around and it’s not to be missed! The popular event located in the Dilworth/Freedom Park area is a great spot for art lovers of all mediums to shop for unique, one-of-a-kind, treasures in a relaxed atmosphere. Featuring the work of approximately 25 Charlotte area artists skilled in the areas of painting, mixed media, photography, pottery, jewelry, book arts, print making, woodturning, fiber arts, glass mosaics, handmade purses and garden sculptures. The Charlotte Art Collective has produced shows for more than 17 years. Our artists have local gallery representation and have led workshops in their medium. They have won numerous awards and sold their work to collectors on multiple continents. Supporting the good deeds of Dilworth Cares, the event features a raffle for a “Basketful of Art” – presenting the winner with a selection of CAC member donated items valued over $500. All proceeds from the raffle sales go to Dilworth Cares to benefit Dilworth Elementary School. |
