Band together with Divine Barrel, Bold Missy Brewery, Crown Station & Yelp Charlotte on July 14! We're throwing a block party in our little corner of NoDa to raise money for the wonderful organization, Behailu Academy, which offers year-round educational programs for underserved youth.
We'll have numerous local vendors booths from 3-8, food trucks all day, live art exhibitions AND a battle of the bands featuring 9 local bands competing for a grand prize! A portion of all sales will go to benefit Behailu!
Battle of the Bands: 9 bands, 3 venues. Music starts at 5pm. 45 minute staggered sets. Vote for your favorite band by purchasing as many $1 voting cards and stuffing the ballot box! 100% of voting card proceeds will go to Behailu, so load up to help them and your band of choice!
Behailu Academy is an arts based youth development organization dedicated to empowering youth through the arts, academics, and community service. We provide year round programs in the visual, performing, and digital arts to middle and high school youth in addition to programs aimed at developing the skills youth need to be successful beyond high school graduation. We believe all teens deserve to have access to the education, experiences, and opportunities necessary to create the lives they want for themselves.
