Enchanted castles, magical fairies, and a true love's kiss. Based on the classic fairy tale, Tchaikovsky's The Sleeping Beauty is full of sweeping symphonic drama and lushly beautiful melodies. Guest conductor Joseph Young leads this evening of musical storytelling, also featuring Copland's portrayal of Billy the Kid and Michael Daugherty's Trail of Tears.
