Staff was nice and helpful. I liked that the microwave was with the ice machine. Better than having to go to the lobby. Not much difference than having in the room. The room configuration was strange in that only one person could see the TV from the bed. Also, there was no luggage stand, so had to use a counter top for my bag. Finally, cigarette smoke wafted under the door, so even though it was a non smoking room, it still smelled of smoke. Although... It is in North Carolina after all.

I have stayed here a couple times on business trips. It's great little hotel tucked in near the highway. Courtyard in the center with a pool and a separate area comfortable outdoor chairs to lounge and have a drink. Will return.

I stayed at this hotel before and it really didn't hit me until I saw the Sonic next door lol! I booked this room a couple months in advance. The price was decent and cheaper than the others. So checking in was a breeze. As always, I did it on my app. When I realized that this hotel did not have a morning breakfast, I was a little disappointed. In all honesty, that's the best part of a hotel other than hot showers. When we got to the room, I was like "oh". It didn't really feel as "homey" as I thought it would. There was also a balcony that was attached the room, which was cool. The bathroom lighting was .. dark and it just felt weird. The gym was also a good size. This hotel really needs to be renovated throughout. It felt very "old". I also wish that were better food choices around.

We stayed there from 6/7-6/9. DOWNSIDE: After the first night my mom woke up with bug bites. We checked the box spring and there were BEDBUGS!!! We had to change rooms. (We were in room 241) we were in such a rush to get away from the bed bugs that we left my nephews brand new sneakers. When we called to get them back the front desk attendant said its not in the log with an unpleasant attitude! The housekeepers should be checking the beds for bedbugs! UPSIDE: the rooms are a great size.

Friendly staff. Clean and courteous service which you expect from the Marriott brand. My only problem is my room was on the 3rd floor and the elevator was out of service my entire 3 day stay. On the plus side... I got my steps and cardio workout each and everyday
