Great rates. Just what our family needed while we wait for our house to be complete. The only misleading information is free breakfast. I been here now for 5 days and I only seen coffee and granola bars. I guess since you have a kitchen you should cook your own breakfast. Customer service desk is on point. Mrs Tequisha is very down to earth and make sure you have all you need. I checked in with Ashlee and she takes care of business.Michael makes sure the facility stay clean and if he don't do nothing else he will be at work on time. Buying a home and building it from the ground up is stressful however the staff at extended stay off university made it very easy for my family and I. I will recommend and stay here again.
The thing keeping this place in business is Schneider trucking. Otherwise, they'd have to make changes and arrangements to get better. More times than not, someone isn't at the front desk when you need to check in, check out, or just need something in general (like new towels since you have to pay extra for room service). They'll charge you a fee if you leave trash in the room instead of taking it to their trash room down stairs (I figured that out when I saw a tiny note on the the elevator instead of being told before hand). The worst part is saying they provide breakfast in the morning. But when you go down for it, or wait, there's nothing there. This whole week it's been like that (or at least the one day I finally managed to be there for it; other days they were 5 to 12 minutes late). Overall all, the only good thing about this hotel is the WiFi, the laundry room (just because we may need to wash clothes and it is 4$ to wash and dry them), and the location (we won't count that because it's not in their control). I've been here two years prior and the service was much better. I would give it a 3 or 4 from my time here in 2016. Now they only have like 3 competent people working. The others are slackers and work around their own schedule being fashionably late or none punctual. It's sad.... so the 1 star rating is suitable for them.
Have been here for 4 months now and I'm very pleased with the service I've received. They keep the room cleaned and always have a very welcoming smile when I leave and come back from work. Needless to say, they knew me by name after only a week here.
The staff was very personable and check in was easy. The room however needed changes. The carpet looked burned or really stained between the beds. The linens didn't look crisp and fresh and that wasn't just the sheets but also the comforter and bed skirt were wrinkled. The phone was missing most of its buttons. I also reported seeing a bug going across wall and the staff person wasn't very responsive other than to say "we will check it out".
We have had a terrible experience here at Extended Stay America. Lights in the room don't work, the bed and pillows are uncomfortable, the telephone didn't work, but they did come switch it out. This morning I called and ask for a coffee pot and was told none were in stock. The noise level was so irritating last night as I was trying to sleep I had to turn the fan on CONTINUALLY just to be able to sleep, even then I could hear the people in the next room having sex. It has been terrible and we paid almost $200 to stay here two nights.
