The staff here are awesome. They make sure you are comfortable while your here.. They also keep this place safe as possible...Other people obviously have their own opinions but me personally, I Love It here...
I didn't expect a five-star hotel when I rented a room there. I think the room was very nice for the price I paid. It had amenities that a five-star hotel would have with the exception of having a full size stove and refrigerator. The bedroom, kitchen area and bathroom we're all very clean. My stay there was pleasent.
The filthiest Extended Stay America I've ever been in if not the dirtiest hotel room. The staff was nice and refunded me for my stay but I almost feel like I should get something for my emotional distress. The thing that clued me in to the fact that I needed to check the comforter was putting my face down on it and catching whiff of something that smelled like rotting meat. Then I flipped it over and saw stains all over. Who knows when it had been cleaned last. Then I took a pillow case off one of the pillows. I wish I had never done that. This is stuff I can't "unknow" after already having slept in the room using the bedding. Finally I moved the mattress to see what was under the bed. Good grief!! Just take a look at the pictures! And next to and underneath the refrigerator and stove - this place was disgusting. If it were inspected I have no doubt it would be shut down if not by the local health inspector definitely by their corporate office.
Let me begin by stating that the desk staff was excellent and went above and beyond to welcome us. However the room was dirty carpets bathroom towels and facilities filthy while the bed linens had pubic hair and blood on them. Dirty needles from what must have been one hell of a party or try outs for pulp fiction. We were refunded a parial amount and their sanitation rating of 88.8 will most certainly change when DHEC inspections just pop up.
If there was a way to give them zero stars I would! I guess the price and front desk lady were the only two things deserving of praise! The room was disgusting, though free of trash there were cigarette burn marks on EVERY SINGLE SURFACE! Even though it says smoke free rooms people clearly dont give a damn because the entire hallway smelled like smoke! Room smelled like the 50s and the staircase and hallway were full of trash... i dont even know how they are still in business! Oh and their Breakfast is (and I quote) coffee granola bars and muffins that are served by the front desk (on a side table that is smaller than a night stand). Unless you like breathing in second hand smoke and dont mind a super outdated filthy looking room, STAY FAR AWAY AMERICA!!!
