Service is trash. The front desk got my check in times wrong and I wasn't able to come to my hotel at the time I had booked. I got upgraded to an executive suite and the pull out couch started giving me back pain when I looked at it, much less having anyone sleep on it. I was on the phone on hold for 45 minutes with guest service asking to bring up a thick comforter and two extra pillows for the couch and a man was sent up to my room another 45 minutes later with a bed sheet instead of what I had asked for. Don't even bother with this place, your money is better spent sleeping at a motel with proper bedding and quick service. Two stars for the aesthetically pleasing elevators, lounge area, and lobby music.

Older hotel in need of renovations. The rooms are very large but they need to be completely remodeled. I didn't even want to sit on the couch it seemed so old and worn out. The carpet is pretty gross and the shower is horrible. The concierge lounge is pretty decent, it has the same offerings as any other concierge lounge. The restaurant has pretty good food and the staff is very friendly. Overall I'd rather stay here then at a lower tier Marriott brand hotel. It is better than a Courtyard but not up to a Marriott or Renaissance level.

Christopher at the front desk was AMAZING!! My 21 year old daughter missed her connecting flight on the way to Utah from England. She was stranded in Charlotte for 20 hours and no one in the airport were kind or helpful. I called Renaissance and Christopher answered. He helped me book her a discounted room, get through a third party credit card authorization form, and treated my daughter like she was his family. She told me the room was great, the bed comfy, and the breakfast awesome. Thank you again to Renaissance Charlotte Suites and Christopher for helping us!!!

If I was going solely on the service I would give this hotel 5 stars. The staff at this hotel were friendly, helpful and made the other issues easier to deal with. Unfortunately the plumbing issues I, and other people who were staying there with me in other rooms, on separate floors were very difficult to deal with. The sinks were backing up, and the toilets would not flush. The staff was very quick to help try and fix issues, but they kept reoccurring. My advice to the owner/manager would be to focus on their plumbing being corrected as soon as possible!

We recently attended a church event at this hotel. Our event was from Friday to Monday and we made use of a number of different meeting rooms for all types of activities, everything from dances to seminars to board games. We were comfortable in the meeting rooms, as they were specious and similarly, there was plenty of parking. While we did not stay in one of the guest rooms, from everything that we saw we would guess that they were spacious and we'll appointed. It seems there was a business center, a pool, a bar, and a restaurant. We had several meals while attending the events. Most of them were decent but the beef brisket was outstanding. The prices for these were fairly typical for hotel catering. Which is to say, not inexpensive but not outrageous. I suspect that we will have future Church events at this location. All in all, it was comfortable, spacious, and as far as we are concerned, met expectations in every way.
