Great Wolf Lodge
Great place for families. This place is huge! The rooms are amazing, and the kids section is perfectly decorated (bunk bed den). Cost of hotel stay and entertainment (pills and rides) are included. There is a wand to activate various artifacts in the hotel (that costs extra). Staff are wonderful. Lifeguards are super focused (the are not allowed to talk to anyone nor look away from the pool area the protect). It's an amazing experience!
First time my daughter and I have been here, and we had a blast! We enjoyed every second of our trip here at the lodge! So much we stayed an extra night. Staff is friendly, and great service! If you want great food and service for dinner, I recommend the Lodge and the pizza place. We went to the buffet and i was not happy with the results of the food! Nevertheless, everything else was tip top, on point!
Thrifty Tool Shed
Great fun, all on one place. The huge slides are awesome, large kids play area, nice wave pool, another indoor pool and even a shallow pool outside. Additional fun with some obstacles outside that we did not do. Concessions available inside the water park and you can have it linked to pay with your armband so no need for wallet while you are there, I loved the convenience. If the weather is bad there is lots to do inside. When the weather is nice lots of area interests at Concord Mills Mall (which you can easily see from Great Wolf) has a nice movie theater, Bass Pro Shop, and even an aquarium.
Great place to take the family. We checked in on Monday at 12pm and left Wednesday at 9am was going to hit up the water park again but was to tired. Great fun for all ages!! The cabana is a must tho! If your looking for your own space. You can rent them out for a day. Only thing that was bad was there are no fitted sheets or comforter. They will bring you up a blanket if you request. Over all it was a great time!!
The place is nice and clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The food was good, but over priced. Definitely buy the passes for meals to save money, or go out and eat. We stayed 2 nights and on check out day we were planning on staying to enjoy the waterpark and rides;however, they closed the rides due to the weather. I was not happy about that at all, since it cost over $1,000 dollars for our 2 night trip. They should offer some sort of refund or rain check for another night stay if they close the rides. That's what the water park in or home town does, and it doesn't cost no where near that much. They also have magic quest, but we did not participate in that aspect of the place. The arcade is expensive!! We bought the $25 dollar pass, and our boys were able to play about 8 games each. Over all it was a nice vacation, but if you decide to go, make sure you check the weather before hand and plan on spending some money.
