The Funny Bus rolls through all the cool hip neighborhoods surrounding and including Uptown, such as the NoDa Art District, Historic South End and the zany Plaza Midwood. The comedian/tour guide on the bus is not only filling guests in on history of the Queen City but also doing stand up comedy, improv jokes, getting the guests involved with games, music and fun! It’s the perfect way to explore the city. The tour is 90 minutes long and runs 7 days a week throughout the entire year, with at least 10 tours between Saturdays & Sundays. The cost is $35 a ticket for public tours. Private tours hold 40 guests and are $1300.00. There are two busses to accommodate all your guests. Private tours can be any day of the week at any time, and can arrange a different pick up location for an additional fee. Private tours may choose the rated R or PG-13 tours. The Funny Bus passes by some of the best things to see in the city such as the Panthers Stadium, the Knights Stadium, the Nascar Hall of Fame and several historical statues, buildings, parks, cemeteries and more! With the city’s landscape changing daily there is always something new to see. The local comics always have new funny things to point out to guests around town as well. The open air concept allow guests to become part of the bustling streets of Charlotte while laughing the whole way. If it is a winter tour or raining outside we have clear plastic flaps that come over the windows and heaters keep the bus warm. There is no A/C for warmer months, just the open air concept that stays cooler when the bus is moving. Guests are allowed to bring their own beer and wine on the bus which can also be purchased at the Market on 7th directly across the street from the pick up location :First Ward Park (301 E 7th St) . No Food or hard alcohol is allowed on the bus.
