McGlohon Theatre at Spirit Square
The McGlohon Theater seats 730 and is a renowned showplace for both local and national performances. The theater first opened in 1980 and was the former First Baptist Church. It features stained glass windows and a Byzantine dome.
Loved the size and scale of the venue. Right now they don't allow any food or beverages inside the theater seating area. You get some snacks and beverages in the lobby. Also masks are mandatory inside the theater seating area.
The bathroom works reasonably and is reasonably clean for such a venue and this volume of people. The seats weren't very comfortable but for 2 hours I managed.
Saw the beauty and the beast it was nice just tight but I can't complain my aunt got all the tickets for the show sold out she picks some good kids for the singing I thought it was a movie
Saw Colin Hay on August 19th. Great theater and an Awesome show
The Jazz and Soul event was amazing. Adrian Crutchfield was wonderful, such a beautiful spirit and positive energy that came through his music. Saunders Sermons was....SPECTACULAR! I will attend more events in the future.
