PNC Music Pavilion
Be careful of this venue. They have a bunch of rules online (clear bags, no lawn chairs higher than 11 inches, and restrictions on blanket sizes). However these rules are enforced with no consistence or reliability. They allow lawn chairs in with legs - blocking the view of anyone sitting on a blanket or rented chair (the rented chairs you must pay for are close to the ground). The blankets they sale are LARGER than what they allow you to bring in from home, that is just petty and unfair. My biggest complaint is the food offerings the venue promotes on their website are NOT actually offered. Even the menus once inside the venue are incorrect. When we tried to order off the menu advertised we were told "oh we don't offer that menu or have all those items. we service limited menus during concerts"?!? HUH?!? You are a concert venue ... if you don't offer your full menu during a concert ... when else would you? Lots of people ordering food were confused and frustrated. But yet the venue still charges premium prices (for example loaded fries sounded amazing on the menu but were served with base fries and some paprika sprinkled on top. Not at all as advertised).
I was dreading the parking situation but it really wasn't bad. Purchased VIP and it was worth the $$. VIP area had good food and beverage options and lots of seating with ceilings fans, which was nice since it was 95 degrees. Everyone working the show was extremely friendly and helpful. The seating for the show was awesome. I'll definitely be back!!
1st time at this location. Very impressed with arrival and parking attendants. They were super helpful, super friendly, and displayed a great attitude from start to finish. Gate attendants, chair booth attendants, refreshment attendants and security...fabulous service and great attitude. Hats off to all the law enforcement for their wonderful service. Great place to watch/hear a concert. Only suggestion for the Chris Stapleton concert was maybe sell about 2k less tickets for crowd safety reason. Will definitely attend another concert at the super nice no bad seat outside venue.
Y'all it's been a long time since I've been to PNC but I have to say this was the smoothest experience I've had there by far. I definitely recommend getting the premier parking for whatever you're seeing. I got there at gate opening and was able to park right by the doors and when I left after the encores it took me less than 10 minutes to leave and get to my hotel. Everyone I encountered was nice and helpful and it was a great time.
Awesome venue! We really enjoyed the setup, but $14 for a Bud Light can? Seriously? $22 if you wanted a strawberry lemonade vodka mixed drink. Make sure you bring $50 if you want 2 drinks! Didn't check our parking pass we paid for at the lot either. Seemed like anyone who wanted to park there could. Otherwise a good place to see a show
