I had been wanting to check this place out since I read about them opening and I finally made it. We decided to take my parents there when they were in town visiting. We had a lot of fun. It was a lot harder than we were expecting. Throwing the ax itself wasn't hard, it was pretty light, but getting it to stick in the wooden target was definitely a challenge. We got a little better at it by the end, but the majority of our throws still fell to the ground. They have a scoring mechanism, but we just played for fun. They help you with the best way to throw, so you aren't completely on your own. It's nota big area, but it's well decorated. Each lane has to targets and you rotate through who is throwing. At $20 per person for an hour, is not the cheapest, but it is a good time. I definitely think it's worth checking out and trying at least once. I probably won't be back all the time, but I would come back for special occasions with a group of friends.
If you haven't been, you should go. The team was super easy to work with when planning a bachelorette party. The location itself is kind of hot, but that's Charlotte summers, so prepare for that. Thank you so much for an amazing night!
Worth the money. Take your family and friends. All a good time, good people, fun activity, good beer. Be respectful and have fun! Reserve online and in advance! You will go back again and again.
It was a wonderful experience! The staff is very helpful and kind when teaching you how to throw. We had so much fun, an hour passed by like it was nothing!
This place is so much fun. You have instructors that help and direct you for the whole time you play. Very safe. I would recommend this to anyone
