For a Saturday night, around 8pm, my buddy and I were 2 of 4 people there - counting the bartender. Monk Coffee Stout was good. My buddy liked his American Copper (ordered two of those). Maybe caught them on an off night with nothing going on?
Amazing small local brewery. These guys really love their craft and it shows. Wonderful brews. Big television for watching sports. Live music on the weekends. Family friendly (although there isnt food available there... just bring a pizza along!). Definitely worth the ride out.
ODB offers a variety of beers at rather reasonable prices, a neat interior, rather chill patrons, and a family-friendly environment. More than once I've gone and there were kids outside tossing bean bags with their parents or sipping sodas inside. Here's the trick with ODB: located in an old industrial building (metalworking, I think they said), neither the brewery nor its environs look sufficiently "brewery-like" to suggest that you're in the right place. A few locals have told me they turned around when they got close.
I haven't been but they're going to have Froggy Fresh playing here in June can people 18 years old get in if they are just watching a performance??
Really enjoyed their wide variety of beer options. If "their" beer doesn't suite you they offer guest taps from other local breweries that are sure to satisfy. Slightly off the main road, but not too far. Nice quiet space, clean restrooms, and a stage for bands.
