It's worth the stop! Max was a wonderful host and very insightful. Grab a cocktail as that is awesome with the Gin. Keep checking in as I missed being able to take their latest whiskey bottle by a day but was able to taste it. Yum! Oh don't forget they have a great outdoor area with a fireplace. PS... no food though. I was longing for pizza from some of the other reviews.

Very small and cozy. My friends and i came to have a drink on st.Patricks day and they had live music. It was fun and very entertaining. We had fun!

We felt so welcomed when we walked in the door. What a friendly staff! We did a tasting and everything was delicious. Alicia was so knowledgeable and adorable! Doing a tasting with her was a blast. Then we got old fashioneds and enjoyed them by the fire pit. Such a nice addition to Matthews! Absolutely loved it!

These guy's are making incredible whiskey. Exceptionally smooth and very balanced. I really like their approach of using 4 grains instead of the traditional mash bill that uses 3 grains. Hard to classify and incredibly tasty. It drinks like a wheated whiskey but has a very complex palette. The team behind the bars is great and the service is outstanding. If you enjoy good whiskey you need to stop by and pick up a bottle. These guys will put North Carolina on the map as a destination for whiskey.

Came with a few friends to check out this new spot and was not let down. The employees perfectly took us on a storied tasting tour of all the spirits they had and it was pretty awesome hearing their knowledge of each. The place also has a great ambience where you can enjoy some drinks and music inside or around the fireplace outside. Will definitely be making a trip back here.
