Euro Grill & Café

Charlotte is the city thats still trying to find its identity in so many ways. Our visit to Euro Grill and Cafe reminded us that spaces like these allow Charlotte to breathe easy as it navigates the journey of arriving at a solid footing in terms of its identity. The Bosnian restaurant is quaint and yet it feels like its trying to hold on to something precious, which reflects in its food, which despite being not especially piquant, still tastes flavorful enough to keep you wondering if the magic lies in the simplicity of the recipe and the cooking. We got the Chicken Shish Kebab with fries and the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with fries. The chicken was tender and juicy and perfectly cooked. The fries were your regular fries which were a nice accompaniment to the main dishes. The finely cut onions were a nice touch too! I dont eat red meat, but their menu options(including cevapis, sandwiches, gyros among other items) looked quite extensive. There is an Eastern European grocery store right next door thats run by the same people. The seating area inside is small and cozy, accommodating around 5-6 tables. Theres seating available outside as well. The staff was quite kind and polite and had a sense of humor, which we appreciated. Parking is available in the back.

Delightful little gem on Central! The food is so fresh and the taste is out-of-this-world good! The European market next door has a great selection of pantry, frozen and cold foods to cook up a little bit of European cuisine in your kitchen. The family-owned business of Cafe and market are run by two of the kindest and humorous gentlemen I have had the pleasure to meet.

Amazing food. This place is one of Charlottes very best. The Cevapi was to die for.
