Best brunch and morning cocktails. updated: We took my mom here for her birthday. She loves the food here the most! Service was OUTSTANDING! Someone even came to the car with umbrellas for my wife and mom. Gay Ann said they were the best soft shell crabs!
Perfect for our anniversary. Staff and food were exceptional. The good was great! I must say this is fine dining and my only disappointment was the burger removed from the menu. It did push me to eat better and try something new. Regardless I recommend the quaint atmosphere. Especially on a nice evening when you can sit out in the yard or on the porch.
Excellent service, food preparation was great. All items were really fresh and locally sourced. Flavors of most dishes in our party were pretty good, but not outstanding. Biggest complaint is the dishes are pretty pricey and serving sizes are really small. Left the restaurant still hungry. Quality food but not a lot of it.
Tiny house restaurant and bar with nice decor. Everything is very very tight with furniture and so packed in that its rather hard to walk around, especially if crowded, its small so it doesnt take very many folks for it to be crowded. The bar stools touch so you are elbow to elbow and if you are at all claustrophobic this place may not be to your liking. The staff was super friendly, although it took nearly 30 min. to get a cocktail at the bar. I sat near another customer who decided to turn her stool and take a huge portion of the bar space. A chatty waiter greeted us and said he was our server but we saw him infrequently after and mostly we did a lot of waiting on the busy night we were there. When we did get a drink it was an elite gorgeous pour, a little masterpiece, the prices reflected that. There was one mistake on our drink order and one on our food order, hard to hear with the noise. The bartenders were fantastic showmen so an extra star. If you want to be there for hours on end trying to get a drink or two, your food and bill its fine. I had to get up and find someone for my check after 45 min. of just sitting my patience was exhausted and I just wanted out.
First visit and certainly not our last! Superb service from the minute you walk up the sidewalk, not even in the house yet! We were greeted with a friendly welcome. Our waiter gave us a history of the restaurant and a tour of the menu. The drinks were an experience in itself! We had the oyster and calamari appetizers which were excellent. Our entree choices were salmon rod and reel, gnocchi of the momentand the elk rack (if you have never tried elk, this is lean, and tender) All were excellent. Our dessert was pecan tarts and blueberry cheesecake. Both delicious. We visited, enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly service and food. We will definitely return! Reservations are advised.
