Hey, just a heads up, unfortunately this restaurant is filthy dirty, really old and worn out. I mean the walls, the ceiling, the floor everything Dirty old beat down and worn out . The bathrooms look like they hadnt been cleaned in years and some of the baseboard molding around the main restaurant and hallway leading to the bathrooms were black and rotten. Seriously , the only thing clean is the fresh coat of paint on the brick front outside. The shrimp fried rice was $15. It was 94% rice, with bits of egg, bits of canned mini carrots/peas, plus six little lame shrimp that were the size of an American penny. The other dish was tofu and mix vegetable. The food tasted like oil and salt with a little sugar and was absolutely terrible. When we walked in, there was only one table with two people sitting there eating and talking the rest of the place was empty. The three employees that were there , an old woman and two younger guys were all on their phones and could care less about us. No way we can recommend this place. It was a total waste of money.

The grilled pork spring roll was good and had a lot of noodle in it. The peanut sauce was tasty, a bit sweet and on the thinner side. The med rare pho broth had a nice flavor, nothing too strong and wasn't super oily, and plenty of meat. The chili oil has a nice kick too it without overpowering the taste of the pho.

I've ordered takeout from Saigon several times, but this was my 1st time going there and dining in. Nice spot, and even nicer staff. We ordered a seafood pho which I've had before, but this one had egg noodles instead of rice noodles. I prefer the rice noodles. We also had the sesame chicken with fried rice, and beef with broccoli and fried rice. Everything was good. We also had spring rolls as an appetizer but I forgot to take a picture.

The #43 (pictured) is really good for first-timers trying to expand their palate. It's become my comfort food I really like that they offer different sizes of pho for different appetites. Service was friendly and really fast. Would definitely come back.
