An estimated 40,000 fans attended the Presidents Cup for each of the four rounds last month at Quail Hollow Club.

Hotel revenue in Mecklenburg County doubled during the week of the Presidents Cup compared with the same period the previous year, according to data compiled by industry tracking firm STR.
