Sunset Hills Public Golf Course
I sometimes read these reviews and wonder where these golfers or Not come from. Seems the price of challenging and enjoying yourself becomes a burden. If this course seems too much money for you I suggest putt-putt. The rates are very reasonable and several choices. This year I have watched this course blossom. Great staff and really friendly players that also take pride in the opportunity to relax and enjoy everything this course offers. Try it for yourself and enjoy this family orientated golf course.
Love this course. They need more rangers to patrol the groups. Shot in the 80s today. Could not be more happier. Only thing I would say that needs to be fixed is maybe the tee boxes and the rough needs to be shaved a little bit more.
Just like the website says, an enjoyable round of golf at an affordable price. Greens were in great shape. The entire course looked well cared for.
Great for a quick game of golf and right down the road. Well taken care of grounds.
First, let me put this in perspective because there is a course out there for all skill levels. I am an 11 handicap and this course is mediocre at best. I played by myself so went played through 4 groups, then behind another for the rest of the day. All other players I saw were clearly just beginner level golfers. That's perfectly fine. What I have a problem with is the $32 twilight fee I paid. I played 2 days ago at Tego Cay for $33. Not even close in comparison. Tego Cay was a fantastic, challenging course. No way should Sunset Hills get $33. If you're just learning and willing to spend that much, then by all means go ahead. But anyone that's an average experienced golfer, there's far better place to spend your $.
